Some situations are very difficult. Making the right decisions for ourselves and our families is stressful. Having to make a decision for a family member solely relies on you can be one of the most difficult.
Many of us have relatives, friends, or colleagues who are challenged on a daily basis by some type of incapacitating physical, mental, or developmental disability. In days past, the families of disabled persons often kept their personal circumstances a secret; the disability of a loved one was a taboo subject that was not to be discussed openly. Today it seems to be very different. There are support groups that are available in many communities. We have also found that many professionals are focusing on working with and for these that have special needs and provide them with legal, tax and even lifestyle advice.
We have affiliated with a few very active community organizations. What we desire is that you are provided with people from this community that understand your needs.
Please follow the pages to each organization and what they are striving to achieve.
